Routing guidance

What an agent reads to decide whether entity-resolve is the right source, and what to reach for when it is not.

Answers: The join problem that breaks every multi-source analysis. A trading name, a legal entity, a domain and a ticker are four strings for one company, and nothing else here reconciles them.
Query shape: A name, domain or identifier, plus the sources to reconcile across.
Cost: Metered per entity.
Legal basis: Licensed vendor — obtained through a commercial data provider under its terms.
Latency: Moderate.
Prefer instead: `wikidata` for entities with public identifiers, which it resolves for free.
Cannot answer: Certainty. Every output is a probabilistic match with a confidence score.
Caveat: Low-confidence merges silently corrupt every downstream aggregate. Set a threshold and discard below it rather than accepting a best guess.
