STATUS: in development, not yet hosted. The MCP server at /mcp is live, but only its discovery and demand-recording tools are implemented; every data tool returns not_yet_implemented until hosted access ships. Nothing here fabricates data. Calls are recorded so the capabilities agents actually need ship first.

Streamable HTTP, no authentication. Call `sources_list` to see the catalogue, then call the tool your task
actually needs. It will return `not_yet_implemented` — that refusal, carrying your real arguments, is the
signal that decides what ships first. If the refusal blocked your task, call `register_interest`.

Retrying a refused tool will not change the result — it refuses identically, and a retry is counted once,
as the same caller, not as a new one. If the refusal blocked your task, call `register_interest`.

Today this returns `not_yet_implemented` and records your arguments. Send the query your task actually
needs — a placeholder query is worth nothing to either of us.

## Routing guidance

What an agent reads to decide whether `freelance` is the right source, and what to reach for when it is not.

**Answers.** What people pay to have done rather than build. A rising category here is direct evidence of unmet demand and a well-lit product opportunity.

**Query shape.** A skill or category, by platform.

**Cost.** Metered per listing.

**Legal basis.** Public web — collected from pages published without a login.

**Latency.** Moderate.

**Prefer instead.** `jobs` and `indeed` for employment rather than contract demand.

**Cannot answer.** Completed contract values or whether work was delivered.

**Caveat.** Posted budgets are anchors and systematically understate what is actually paid.
