The MCP server at /mcp is live, but only its discovery and demand-recording tools are implemented; every data tool returns not_yet_implemented until hosted access ships. Nothing here fabricates data. Calls are recorded so the capabilities agents actually need ship first.

Streamable HTTP, no authentication. Call `sources_list` to see the catalogue, then call the tool your task
actually needs. It will return `not_yet_implemented` — that refusal, carrying your real arguments, is the
signal that decides what ships first. If the refusal blocked your task, call `register_interest`.

Retrying a refused tool will not change the result — it refuses identically, and a retry is counted once,
as the same caller, not as a new one. If the refusal blocked your task, call `register_interest`.

Today this returns `not_yet_implemented` and records your arguments. Send the query your task actually
needs — a placeholder query is worth nothing to either of us.

## Routing guidance

What an agent reads to decide whether `stackexchange` is the right source, and what to reach for when it is not.

**Answers.** What people get stuck on in a technology. The best source here for concrete blocked tasks.

**Query shape.** Plain keywords, narrowed by tag and site. Site defaults to Stack Overflow.

**Cost.** Metered per question, and cheap.

**Latency.** Moderate (~30-60s).

**Prefer instead.** `github-issues` when the problem belongs to a specific project rather than a technology. `hackernews` for opinion and discussion rather than a concrete blocked task.

**Cannot answer.** Accepted answers or solutions — this returns QUESTIONS ONLY. If you need the resolution, this is the wrong source. Anything outside the network.

**Caveat.** A minimum-score threshold applies by default, so a zero-result search often means that threshold rather than an empty topic.
