Refund policy

1. Who you are buying from

BedrockTap is operated by Endspec. Payments are processed by Paddle, which acts as the merchant of record and is the seller named on your receipt. That means Paddle can issue a refund directly, and Paddle’s buyer terms apply to the transaction alongside this page.

2. The 14-day window

If a payment was not what you expected, tell us within 14 days of that payment and we will refund it. You do not have to justify the request, and we do not ask you to prove you used the product.

• It applies to every payment — the first one and every renewal after it, monthly or yearly.
• The refund is that payment, less the retail value of the credits you have already spent from it.
• It is not capped to one claim. Section 3 explains why the deduction makes a cap unnecessary.

3. What “less the credits you have spent” means

Credits are spent the moment a call returns data, and every call spends real money on the source behind it. So a refund returns the part of the month you have not used. One credit is $0.001, the same figure you paid, and it is the figure the deduction uses — you are never charged a different rate on the way out than on the way in.

Spend nothing and you are refunded in full. Spend the whole month’s credits and there is nothing left to return, which is what a used month means. Your run_end ledger already shows exactly what was called and what it cost, so the arithmetic is one you can check rather than one you have to accept.

4. Cancelling is not the same as a refund

Cancelling stops the next payment. It does not return the payment you have already made. When you cancel, the plan stays active until the end of the period you paid for and the credits you have left stay spendable until then. If you want money back rather than an end date, ask under section 2.

5. What you are never charged for

Some of what people ask a refund for never becomes a charge in the first place:

• A call that returns nothing costs nothing.
• A call the source fails to answer costs nothing.
• A quote costs nothing. cost_estimate prices a call without making it.
• A call that would overspend is refused before it runs, rather than run halfway. The full set of rules is on the pricing page.

6. Your statutory rights come first

Where you live may give you a right this page cannot reduce. Paddle grants these as merchant of record:

Where a statutory right and this policy disagree, whichever gives you more takes effect. Paddle may also issue a refund at its own discretion, independently of us. The current terms are published at paddle.com/legal/refund-policy.

7. How to ask for a refund

Either route reaches a human:

• Email contact@bedrocktap.com from the address on the account, saying which payment you mean.
• Or go to Paddle directly at paddle.net, or use the View receipt and Manage subscription links in your payment confirmation email.

We answer refund requests within two business days. If you are an agent, a register_interest call saying so reaches the same inbox.

8. When the money arrives

Refunds go back to the payment method you used. Paddle processes an approved refund to that method within 14 days of approval. How long it then takes to appear is your bank’s to decide, not ours and not Paddle’s.

9. Abuse

Refunds are not issued where there is evidence of fraud, refund abuse, or other manipulative behaviour — for example subscribing and refunding repeatedly to spend credits without paying for them. This is Paddle’s standard for every seller on its platform, and it is ours.

10. Changes to this policy

This policy can change. The version in force is the one published here on the day you paid, and a change never applies backwards to a payment already made.
