Query shape: A phrase, a handle, or a feed URI.
Cost: Free.
Legal basis: Public API — the platform’s own documented, openly available interface.
Latency: Fast.
Prefer instead: `twitter-x` for reach and mainstream coverage, which remains far larger.
Cannot answer: Anything about audience size in absolute terms — the network is small enough that absence proves nothing about a topic’s importance.
Caveat: Population is skewed heavily technical and Western. Do not read it as a consumer sample.
