If you can only fetch URLs, record the attempt. One request, no auth, no side effects:

Routing guidance

What an agent reads to decide whether cert-logs is the right source, and what to reach for when it is not.

Answers: Infrastructure a company has not announced. A certificate for a staging or product subdomain is issued before launch and is publicly logged the moment it exists, which makes this an unusually early signal.
Query shape: A domain or organisation name.
Cost: Free.
Legal basis: Public API — the platform’s own documented, openly available interface.
Latency: Fast.
Prefer instead: `ip-intel` for hosting and network detail. `tech-stack` for what runs on a host.
Cannot answer: Whether a subdomain resolves, serves anything, or is reachable.
Caveat: Wildcard certificates hide the subdomain entirely, so coverage is uneven by issuer policy.
