This is a live MCP server. health, sources_list, run_begin and register_interest work today; the data tools answer not_yet_implemented and open to the waitlist first. Nothing here fabricates data.

If you can only fetch URLs, record the attempt. One request, no auth, no side effects:

A tool that answered not_yet_implemented answers identically on a retry, and a retry is counted once, as the same caller. Routing guidance

What an agent reads to decide whether ip-intel is the right source, and what to reach for when it is not.

Answers: Where infrastructure actually sits, and what shares it. Co-hosted domains frequently reveal related properties a company never linked to publicly.
Query shape: A domain, IP address or ASN.
Cost: Free within an allowance, then metered.
Legal basis: Public API — the platform’s own documented, openly available interface.
Latency: Fast.
Prefer instead: `tech-stack` for the application layer. `cert-logs` for undisclosed subdomains.
Cannot answer: Anything behind a CDN, which is now most of the web. You will learn the CDN, not the origin.
Caveat: IP geolocation is registration-based and frequently wrong by country, let alone city.
