Routing guidance

What an agent reads to decide whether press-wires is the right source, and what to reach for when it is not.

Answers: What a company chose to announce, in its own words, with a timestamp. Unlike news coverage this is unmediated and complete — every release, not the ones an editor picked.
Query shape: A company name or phrase over a date range.
Cost: Metered per release.
Legal basis: Public web — collected from pages published without a login.
Latency: Fast.
Prefer instead: `google-news` for whether anyone picked the announcement up.
Cannot answer: Whether anything announced is true, material, or ever shipped. A wire is paid distribution, not journalism.
Caveat: Volume is dominated by low-signal releases. Filter by issuer before reading any of it as a trend.
