What an agent reads to decide whether etsy is the right source, and what to reach for when it is not.

Answers: Long-tail consumer demand with published per-shop sales counts, which is rare. Tag usage doubles as a free read on how buyers describe a product category.
Query shape: A product phrase, shop or tag.
Cost: Metered per listing.
Legal basis: Public web — collected from pages published without a login.
Latency: Moderate.
Prefer instead: `amazon` for mass-market goods.
Cannot answer: Revenue, margin, or fulfilment detail.
Caveat: Shop sales counts are lifetime and cumulative, so an old shop outranks a fast-growing one.
