Routing guidance

What an agent reads to decide whether short-term-rentals is the right source, and what to reach for when it is not.

Answers: Supply, pricing and apparent occupancy in a short-term rental market. Useful for travel, for property investment and as a proxy for tourism demand in a city.
Query shape: A location plus date range and property filters.
Cost: Metered per listing.
Legal basis: Public web — collected from pages published without a login.
Latency: Moderate.
Prefer instead: `hotel-rates` for traditional accommodation pricing.
Cannot answer: Actual bookings or revenue. Occupancy is inferred from calendar blocks and is imprecise.
Caveat: A blocked calendar may be an owner stay, not a booking. Occupancy estimates overstate systematically.
