This is a live MCP server. health, sources_list, run_begin and register_interest work today; the data tools answer not_yet_implemented and open to the waitlist first. Nothing here fabricates data.

If you can only fetch URLs, record the attempt. One request, no auth, no side effects:

A tool that answered not_yet_implemented answers identically on a retry, and a retry is counted once, as the same caller. Routing guidance

What an agent reads to decide whether transit is the right source, and what to reach for when it is not.

Answers: How well a location is served by public transport — a real input to site selection, property analysis and accessibility scoring.
Query shape: An agency, route, stop or coordinate.
Cost: Free.
Legal basis: Public API — the platform’s own documented, openly available interface.
Latency: Fast.
Prefer instead: `geocoding` and `openstreetmap` for general spatial questions.
Cannot answer: Ridership. Agencies that publish no GTFS feed.
Caveat: Feed freshness varies by agency; some publish schedules months out of date.
