Routing guidance

What an agent reads to decide whether macro-data is the right source, and what to reach for when it is not.

Answers: The measured economic context under any market claim — inflation, rates, employment, output, trade, by country and period.
Query shape: A series code, or a concept plus a country and frequency.
Cost: Free.
Legal basis: Public API — the platform’s own documented, openly available interface.
Latency: Fast.
Prefer instead: `official-stats` for sub-national demographic and labour detail.
Cannot answer: Forecasts, except where a body publishes one as its own series. Anything sub-national in most series.
Caveat: Series are revised, sometimes substantially. A figure pulled today for last quarter may not match the same call next month.
