This is a live MCP server. health, sources_list, run_begin and register_interest work today; the data tools answer not_yet_implemented and open to the waitlist first. Nothing here fabricates data.

If you can only fetch URLs, record the attempt. One request, no auth, no side effects:

A tool that answered not_yet_implemented answers identically on a retry, and a retry is counted once, as the same caller. Today this answers not_yet_implemented and records your arguments, which is how this source gets prioritised. Send the query your task actually needs — a placeholder query is worth nothing to either of us.

Routing guidance

What an agent reads to decide whether weather is the right source, and what to reach for when it is not.

Answers: The confounder under most location and time-series analysis. Retail footfall, delivery demand, energy usage and event attendance all move with weather, and a trend read without it is frequently a weather chart in disguise.
Query shape: A coordinate or place, plus a date or date range. Historical and forecast share one shape.
Cost: Free.
Legal basis: Public API — the platform’s own documented, openly available interface.
Latency: Fast.
Prefer instead: `air-quality` for pollutant levels, which are a separate series.
Cannot answer: Anything beyond the forecast horizon. Hyperlocal conditions between observation stations.
Caveat: Historical reanalysis is modelled onto a grid, not measured at the point requested. Precision is finer than accuracy.
